Halloween 2005 saw out largest turnout ever! We had people lined up down the sidewalk
from 6:30 until after 9:30. Perhaps this was because this was to be the last year for the
inside portion of the haunt. (See HERE for more information.)
I turned over control of the haunt to one of my young cousins, who has helped me set up the
haunt for a number of years. Without his help, and that of his sisters and friends, I would
never pull things together. Letting him work the door this year allowed me to roam about
the yard and visit with the guests - something I have never been able to do!
Our collections of food for the local food bank were a bit below my expectations, especially
given the size of the crowd. I suspect, though, that everyone was a bit tapped-out after the
enormous relief effort to support the Gulf Coast hurricane victims.
Many thanks though, to everyone who made donations!

A shot in the dungeon room. The fog
made the flash wash out the photo a bit.

I thought Medusa was supposed to be ugly.
No way in this case, though!
